Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply to anyone who books a session with MjrStudios or uses mjrstudios.com. By engaging us or submitting an enquiry, you agree to them.

2. Bookings & deposits

• A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event.
• Dates are only held once the deposit is received. We do not reserve dates on enquiry alone.
• Quoted prices are valid for 14 days from the date the quote is issued.

3. Coverage & deliverables

The package you book defines the hours of coverage, the number of edited images, and the delivery timeline. Anything outside that scope is an add-on, agreed in writing in advance.

Edited images are delivered through a private online gallery within the timeframe stated in your package (typically 8–12 weeks for weddings, 2–4 weeks for sessions).

4. Reschedules & cancellations

• You may reschedule once, free of charge, provided you give at least 14 days' notice and we have your new date available.
• Cancellations less than 7 days before the event forfeit the full booking amount.
• Refer to the Refund Policy for amounts and timing.

5. Copyright & usage

MjrStudios retains the copyright on all images and videos. You receive a personal-use licence to print, share, and display the deliverables for non-commercial purposes. Commercial use (brand campaigns, paid promotions) requires a separate licence.

We may feature a small selection of edited work on our portfolio and social media unless you opt out at booking.

6. Force majeure

If a session cannot go ahead due to events outside reasonable control (severe weather, illness, government restrictions, etc.), we will offer to reschedule at no additional cost.

7. Liability

Our liability for any single booking is capped at the amount you paid for that booking. We are not liable for losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.
